The UAE authorities have finally decided to visit tour and travel visas for fans to attend the most anticipated cricket tournament in the UAE this year. This is a good news for cricket fans, especially IPL fans, as they can now travel to Dubai using a visiting visa to watch the IPL matches starting from 19th September.

At this time the visa issuance has been confirmed only for Dubai Emirates, and not other Emirates of Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, where the rest of the matches will be played. However, we can expect the visa to be issued for other Emirates as well as we expect an announcement in this regard soon.

The visa approval process will require 2-3 working days. Using this Visa, you can travel or visit Dubai for a period of 30 to 90 days. Strict COVID-19 protocols (testing) must be followed before and after the journey. Also note that, if there are direct flights between origin and Dubai, then only you will be able to get this visa approved.

So if you are a big fan of the IPL you can travel to Dubai to enjoy the matches but only if crowds are allowed in the stadium. There is no official statement from BCCI to allow the crowds in stands. We will have to wait for the official announcement. Subscribe to Cricket Schedule latest news and keep up to date with all the latest happenings around cricket.
