Suresh Raina, Piyush Chawla, Deepak Chahar have arrived in Chennai and now Dhoni will also arrive in Chennai soon as well. Dhoni has been out of international cricket since July 2019. He will be seen in action mode again in the IPL starting September 19. For this, Dhoni has left Jharkhand for Chennai on Friday. His photos at the Jharkhand airport have gone viral on social media. Before the training camp, Dhoni tested the COVID-19  and the result came back negative. So he will now be able to participate in training camp with other players.

He was ready to return to Team India from the IPL in March, but the IPL was postponed due to the coronavirus. There were doubts as to whether it would happen or not. But, the way is finally clear for the IPL. Dhoni is ready for IPL. He was away from international cricket after the ODI World Cup. He has been at the farmhouse in Ranchi since the lockdown was announced.

With the permission of the central government, all the franchises have started preparations to bring their players together in one place. Chennai Super Kings as expected is the first team to assemble together and start their training. They will train for 5-6 days and fly to UAE on 22nd August. This camp is was set up particularly for team bonding and gathering.
