The weather forecast suggests yet another rain intervention for the second T20I between Pakistan and England. The first T20I was abandoned due to persistent rain earlier on Friday. The pitch for the second encounter will remain the same used in the first one.

Tom Banton’s blazing hitting which earned him his maiden T20 half-century and Shadab Khan’s 50 T20I career wickets were the highlights of the Match.

England might include David Willey in the squad given his recent performance against Ireland with the new ball. He can prove as a handy batsman against Pakistani spin attack which caused trouble for English batsmen in the first match.

Pakistan will definitely look to bring their veteran left-arm pacer Wahab Riaz in place of Haris Rauf or Muhammad Amir while Haider Ali will have to wait a little longer as Pakistan did not bat in the Friday’s clash.

Pakistan will yet again look to dominate through spinners, an area England struggled because they lack the services of Buttler and Stokes who can play slow bowlers pretty well.

Pakistan has struggled against England in the shorter format of the game. Out of 16 T20I’s they Played the green team only won 4 while losing 10 matches to England. Babar Azam would certainly look to add numbers to their tally quoting: “There is Shoaib, there is Hafeez. And then if you look at the bowling, there is Shaheen Shah and Wahab Riaz. There is Mohammad Amir and Haris Rauf. There is a good mix of seniors and juniors. So I’m hopeful that we can win the series.”
