All the players are expected to travel in the first or second week of August. Sources indicate that the team management has already decided the plan. They will practice in different pitches and grounds of all the 3 emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah). All the necessary hotels and practice grounds have been booked by the CSK team.

Advantage of going first is that they will get used to the humid weather conditions and pitches in UAE before other teams. Earlier this March, CSK had started their practice camps with players like MS Dhoni, DJ Bravo, Piyush Chawla, Suresh Raina for the IPL scheduled before COVID-19 pandemic.
